Dr.Faruqi- He is the man who aids Amir in the hospital after his encounter with Assef. Dr.Faruqi has a "Clark Gable mustache"(295)  and wears a hat called "Pakol"(294), which he tilts to one side. He is a "head-and-neck surgeon"(295). Amir called him Armand, because he looked like a famous person that looked familiar. Amir also describes him to have "hairy forearms and wore a gold wedding band"(296). He is a smart man and has a sense of humor. He said to Amir, "no fart, no food"(297), with that he laughed in an attempt to make Amir laugh as well. Dr.Faruqi is a round character, for what we know of him he is well-developed and involved.
